This summer, we’re asking you to clock up 24 hours of an activity of your choice while fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
How you split up the 24 hours is up to you, if you’re feeling brave you could do 12 hours over two days, or just an hour a day over 24 days; whatever suits your schedule and ability.
Share your page to keep friends and family updated with your progress and ask them to sponsor you! There will be prizes for each fundraising milestone you hit.
Keep track of your time here and watch those minutes and pounds pile up!
The 24 hours for CF virtual challenge is inspired by the incredible fitness and fundraising challenge that Josh, who has cystic fibrosis, is undertaking for his 30th birthday in July. In just 24 hours, Josh will lift 100 tonnes, cycle 100 miles, run 10 miles and do 3,000 sit-ups, 1,000 press-ups and 1,000 squats and more!
Don’t worry, you can spend your 24 hours strolling in the countryside or bouncing on a trampoline if that all sounds like too much hard work. Our challenge is about having fun!
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that affects over 10,000 people in the UK. It causes the lungs and digestive system to become clogged with thick mucus, which can make climbing the stairs feel like climbing a mountain. Check out the Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s interactive body to find out more.
The Trust is funding research into new treatments and therapies, providing information and support to everyone affected and campaigning hard alongside the CF community. Taking part in this challenge will help us create a life unlimited by cystic fibrosis for everyone affected.
